This foundational yoga training course will inspire you through creative engagement with yoga from the ground up.

It is a 600-hour Government Accredited, Austudy approved course. Open to anyone who is interested in having a happier life, deepening their  understanding of yoga, and also those who might want to help others live a happier, healthier life too. Existing yoga teachers are welcome to enrol.

Cert IV in Yoga and Life Education is the first course and foundational studies in our core program for yoga. It will inspire you through a creative engagement with Yoga from the ground up. It presents ways in which yoga can be applied to the complexity of everyday living and improve the quality of your daily life.
Originally, yoga was a discipline practised to facilitate the stillness in mind in order to emancipate one’s inherent wisdom. Yoga today is also a system for holistic health, balance and connectedness. With its practices you learn how to clear your mind of its clutter, find peace within, and restore the health of your body. Even if you have absolutely no past experience of yoga, you are able to apply. You will notice dramatic results from your very first class as you work with yourself (not against yourself), to tap into the highest level of energy, vitality and freedom from within. It’s transformational.

Using use the classical Vedic modalities: asana (yoga postures), nidra (relaxation), meditation and pranayama (breath work), concentration, Ayurvedic health, Vedic philosophy and  psychology, the program outcomes include a greater sense of awareness of yourself, learning to accept challenges as they occur in life, and employing healthy ways to cope. You will enjoy an improved sense of  health and wellbeing for your entire being - body, mind and spirit, and an increased  sense of connectedness. Students train in overcoming many obstacles on  the path and develop friendliness towards themself and others. By  deepening your experience and understanding of yourself, through the  depth of yoga, you more fully become you already are. Even if you have absolutely no past experience of yoga, you are able to apply.
